~ FAQ ~

Q: What’s your photography style and approach?

I believe capturing candid, unposed moments is the best way to tell the wedding day story. Regarding portraits, I give clear directions and orchestrate families and wedding parties. My goal is to create sincere, stylish images that capture the real personalities of my couples and the raw emotion of one of the most important days of their lives. We’re on the same page if you’re not into the fake-smile-for-the-camera-everyone-say-cheese thing.

Q: Do you shoot film?

My main cameras are digital, but I bring a couple of film cameras to every wedding if you’d like your wedding to be photographed on film only – happy to chat about that!

Q: How many hours of coverage do we need?

Full wedding day coverage can be from 7 to 14 hours.

It depends on:

– getting ready location both for you and your partner
– ceremony location
– cocktail hour and reception location
– type of ceremony (non-religious, catholic, Jewish, etc.)
– are you interested in doing a first look and doing bride+groom photos, wedding party photos, and family photos before the ceremony
– size of your wedding party, size of immediate families

Q: Do we need a second photographer?

I’m super confident photographing a wedding solo. But you need a second photographer if:
You have many guests or complicated logistics.
Two photographers can be at two places simultaneously – during the getting ready process or cocktail hour.
You can get different perspectives on “once in a lifetime” moments as a bride walks down the aisle and a second photographer takes a wide photo from behind.
It’s an additional layer of insurance if something happens with the main photographer on the way to the wedding.

Q: When and how many photos do we get?

Sneak peek photos – 48 hours, full wedding gallery – 4 weeks. You can expect 40-60 images/hour of coverage from one photographer and 60-80 from two photographers.

Q: What’s your editing style?

Clean and timeless, natural skin tones. And I love black and white images.

Q: What are the next steps to book you?

– A video call or in-person meeting to ensure we are a good fit.
– Signing a contract (online).
– Paying 30% of the total amount to block the date.

Q: Do we need an engagement photo session?

No pressure here! Totally up to you! It’s a fun way to spend time and create something beautiful and creative.
Also, it helps to get comfortable with each other in front of me and my camera so that when the big day arrives, you are relaxed and completely in the moment. During peak wedding season (June – September), I only do engagement photo sessions on Cape Cod. October through May – I can travel to your location.

Q: Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. Before moving to the USA, I mainly worked as a destination wedding photographer. I still photograph a couple of weddings and elopements in Europe each year.
