As 2016 draws to a close, I reviewed the photographs I shot this year and am reminded of what an interesting and rich year it was. First of all, my sincere thank you to all of the couples that chose me to document their weddings. The brides and grooms of 2016 shared their trust and emotions with me in such a raw and intimate way. All of my love to you as you enjoy your first year of marriage!

Personally, the most important event for my family was our move to the United States and the search for a place to live. We were able to realize our dream of living near the ocean. Cape Cod has been a wonderful place to relocate to, with beautiful nature and generous people. However, it is difficult, after six years working as a wedding photographer in Europe, to create new connections and contacts in a new continent. All of my former clients and their recommendations were overseas. But despite such difficulties, I never stopped, but rather continued to pursue the work I love—capturing captivating and interesting wedding photographs. In the U.S., I was delighted to find connoisseurs of stylish wedding photography with European accents. I met many interesting professionals in the wedding industry and continue to enjoy my friendships with my American colleagues!

In 2016, I shot 25 weddings, which is less than usual due to the move in the middle of summer in the height of wedding season. I enjoyed shooting weddings in some new places, including Norway and Iceland. I continued to work very hard in Italy, the most popular wedding destination. Upon arrival in the U.S., I also immediately started to shoot weddings here. I am so grateful that my first clients found me even before I moved, when I was overseas. My transition is complete. I continue to travel the world to shoot weddings, but also enjoy my work as a Cape Cod photographer.

This year I also won several international awards in prestigious competitions for wedding photography from ISPWP and Wedding Photography Society.
